You Never Know

At about four in the morning, when I was done delivering newspapers for my part-time job, I was on the freeway doing 60 mph. As I came around the bend, another car passed me on my left hand side, it seemed within inches of my car. That car appeared to be going at least 80 mph in the wrong direction on the same freeway that I was driving on. It happened so fast, so suddenly! I thought to myself, that could have been the end of my life!

In life there are things that can happen, "Just like that,"and change a person's life over night, "You Never Know." What people don't think about is that when we die, that is the end of life here on earth, but in the spirit realm everyone lives forever. Let me explain:

Genesis 2:7(NKJ) - Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.

Since God is a spirit being, when He breathed into our nostrils, His breath of life, which made us a part of Him. Let me show you another way that we are made up of body, soul, and spirit. Body=everyone knows their body, you can touch it, feel it; Soul=what makes you a person, your thoughts, emotions, and senses; Spirit=the part of God that He breathed into us.

This is why we are born again (saved) or accept Jesus into our lives, we have to renew our minds. Romans 12:2 (NKJ)-Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-His good, pleasing and perfect will.

When we get saved, we have to align our body and soul with our spirit because the spirit is always perfect, because it is of God. So with that being said when we die, our soul and spirit will live on forever, it's just a matter of WHERE, HEAVEN or HELL.

So don't take this life on earth for granted, because if you don't get it right in this life time you won't be ready for the next. God has so much that He wants to show you and even more that He wants to give you. Most of all, He wants you to come home with Him, when your time has ended on earth. The only way to do that is to accept His son, Jesus. Romans 10:9-10 (NKJ) - If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

If you want to be saved, say, "Lord Jesus, I repent of my sins, come into my heart, I make you my Lord and Savior, I believe that you died on the cross for my sins, was raised from the dead, and that you are the son of God." Upon your confess from your mouth and with your heart, you are now saved; it is that simple.

You may live to be old or you may not, why don't you take the time that God has given you, now, here on earth and CHOOSE between LIFE and DEATH, "why you may ask"....because YOU NEVER KNOW!

NOTE: I shared this story to inspire others to decide TODAY, who you will serve in this life time, God or Satan. I do not want anyone's final thoughts from this story to be fear of death, yes, we are all going to die, but we can't live our lives fearing it. Life is meant to be lived and enjoyed everyday, without fear. Avoiding the fact that none of us know when our last hour or day on this earth will be, is not the solution. So today, why don't you choose God, choose eternal life! Jesus died so that you could have success here on earth, and after death happens, receive eternal life with Him; the opposite of this is eternal death (torment) with Satan!
