He took all of your broken pieces and made you into something NEW!

Every one of us is on a journey, some of us may be on their journey with the Lord, some may not. For those who are not traveling this journey of life with the Lord, I pray that you will hear His call and start your journey with the Lord as your Shepard. As for the journey itself, we will all have highs and lows on our journey of life. I just want to encourage you today, not to make a home of your low points of life, or allow anyone else to force you to dwell there.

Sometimes when you share your life journey with others, let's say you were sexually abused as a teenager, when you share that story with them for the first time, they may try to keep you in that broken place. Why? I don't know, maybe it makes them feel better about themselves, elevated, or fulfill their need to help or solve a problem, I have no idea; but don't you allow anyone to force your face into your low points of the past. You have healed and moved on, if others choose to dwell in your past, leave them there; but don't you dwell there with them. You are NOT broken! When Jesus restored you, He took all of your broken pieces and made you into something NEW! Glory be to God!

The reason why satan has to keep repeating low points of your past is to try and convince you of something that is not true. Not only will he push his opinions in your face, he will also lay traps in an attempt to ensnare you to prove to you that you are broken. Even if you fell for one of his traps, you are still, not broken, you are the healed; emotionally, mentally, physiologically, physically, and in every other sense of the word. If you were truly broken, believe me satan would not go out of his way to try and force you to think that you are broken.

Advertising, and marketing corporations put what they want you to think (meditate on) in your face at every given opportunity. They bombard you on your social media platforms, radio commercials, while you watch the news, on streaming networks, everywhere...ingenious right! Well satan uses the same concept of the marketing strategy to convince you of a lie. If you were already a customer, why would a corporation, waste their time and money marketing to you? They wouldn't, because you were already their customer, Likewise, if you were still in a broken condition, satan would not go out of his way to convince you that you are broken, because you're already broken, his work is done. My friend, If you are truly in a broken state at this point in your life, or hurting then by all means, please allow God to minister healing to you.

Jesus did not die on the cross for us to live in a perpetual broken state, needing perpetual pity from others. No, God called you to be restored, and to use your past lows and highs to win others to the body of Christ. I remember in 2020, before COVID, I was visiting a church, and I was worshiping God. I am always so grateful to God for the right to have a relationship with Him, and all that He has done in my life over the years. For others it may be like a forgotten dream, but for me it always like yesterday.

So sometimes, well many times, I cry when I worship. Tears of gratitude, adoration of our Triune God, awe of who God is, happiness remembering the hills and valleys that He caused me to overcome, the knowledge that so many do not know Him personally, but I do; and I am never, ever alone! Praise God! During this service, the presence of God was so heavy, the worship so pure, and as I worshiped God, I was crying, and toward the end of service a woman came over, and was comforting me. I allowed her to because I knew she was doing it out of the kindness of her heart, but I also knew that she thought I crying from anguish or grief; which was not the case.

I have experienced this so many times in church, especially when visiting a church were I am not known. It is so easy to jump to conclusions about someone you have never talked to? It's so easy to misjudge where a person is located spiritually, especially when you have no relationship with them, you are going on past knowledge, old information or gossip. For anyone who does this, I pray that God will give you the courage to talk to others you want to help before assuming they are in need of fixing.

Our God is a God of order, religion can make people judgemental, cruel and presumptive. A relationship with God will make us pray for others, and talk to them in order to effectively help them. When God shares dreams or knowledge with me about others, its because He wants me to pray for them, not run and share the dream with others. God entrusted me with the knowledge, because He trusts me to pray. Sharing dreams or knowledge given to you about others can make you seem great in the sight of people, but is that why God shared the information with you? Prayer works, so let's start healing others with our prayers! Relationship over Religion!
